Meet Your Teachers

Every instructor at Annie Bonsignore Studios is personally chosen by Annie — because who teaches your child (or you) matters just as much as what they teach.

Hand-Picked, Held To A Standard

Annie is deeply selective about who joins the studio. Every teacher is vetted for skill, warmth, and the ability to truly connect with students.

Engagement Over Rote Repetition

Our teachers are expected to make every lesson matter. Music here is a journey students look forward to — not a mechanical weekly checkbox.

Annie Bonsignore founded the studio to give Milton families a warmer, more inspiring way to learn music. She can only teach a limited number of students herself — so she built a team she trusts to deliver the same experience, in the same beautifully designed spaces, with the same real, quality instruments.

Founder & Senior Vocal Coach

A professional singer-songwriter, producer, vocal coach, and live performer, Annie founded the studio and personally hand-picks every teacher on the roster. Connecting people with music is what makes her tick. Annie takes a limited number of vocal students each year — a waitlist is available for those hoping to study with her directly.

Desiree Brathwaite - Vocal Instructor at Annie Bonsignore Studios

Desiree Brathwaite

Vocal Instructor

Desiree is a vocal coach, singer, actress, and songwriter based in the GTA who brings creativity, warmth, and energy to every lesson. With 8+ years of teaching experience, she is trained in Voice Performance at York University and holds a certificate from the Music Theatre Academy at Wilfrid Laurier University. She teaches voice and piano across musical theatre, pop, indie folk, and classical styles.

Everyone Gets A Stage

No matter which teacher you learn with — or what level you’re at — every student at the studio gets the chance to share their music in public performances several times a year. Performing builds confidence, makes practice meaningful, and turns students into real musicians.
