Meet The Teacher: Introducing Shub Joshi, Group and Individual Guitar Coach @ Annie Bonsignore Studios
This course is structured for those with either no experience, or basic experience in either guitar playing or singing, and want to improve their confidence and skills in a fun, low-pressure, guided group environment.
Members will need their own guitars, but any quality will do – and used beginner guitars can easily be found for $100 or less online, and new beginner guitars range in the $200-300 range.
The groups meet once per week, and will tackle new songs that strengthen familiar guitar chords while introducing new chords and techniques, all while learning to play and sing at the same time.
The Results: Within just a few months of attending, adult students will feel the confidence to perform well-known popular songs in front of friends and family, and unlock a lasting passion for musical learning and performance.

Join a fun and enriching group of like-minded adults and seniors as you finally take the plunge and add music-making to your life!
We’ll cover the basics of singing with healthy and range & pitch-building techniques, as well as learning the Ukulele and it’s primary chords.
With it, you’ll learn popular songs from the 1960’s – 2000’s, including hits by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, U2, and more.
Why the Ukulele? For those who’ve never played guitar or ukulele before, picking it up at any age can come with discomfort. But particularly with older adults, joint pain can make learning guitar for the first time a daunting and uncomfortable experience. Ukulele’s use lower string tension, fewer strings, and nylon (vs steel) strings, which all combine to make a much more comfortable and enjoyable learning experience.
Group sizes between 3-6 adults & seniors, with low-pressure recitals and social events throughout the year!
