  • Annie Bonsignore’s self produced debut album, Shades of Red is a collection of 11 original songs with her extraordinary voice accompanied only by piano and violin, with minimalist traces of guitar and percussion. Mini operatic excursions take the place of solos, in this air tight production that really breathes. Ranging from early Brill Building era songcraft to modern Disney stylings, Annie has made an exceptionally beautiful, emotive album, all about the darker shades of love.
  • Annie’s Bonsignore’s first album will be released in Canada on CD with distribution through Silverbirch Inc and in Digital format with distribution through Itunes.

Focus tracks include Moon Stained Black (Track 2) and Loving you Anyway (Track 8) – Both featured in the Independent film ‘A Dark Matter’ in 2013. 3. Best of Me (Track 1) Treasure Box(Track 3), both potential singles.

  • Annie is a South African born singer/songwriter and pianist who has been living in Toronto, Canada for ten years. She was born into a family of passionate musicians. Her father is a guitarist and singer, and her mother is a music teacher. Annie began singing and playing the piano in competitions and festivals at the tender age of five, composing by age nine and singing professionally by the age of eleven. She was a top ten finalist in South Africa’s “Popstars” competition. Annie has taught voice and chorus at many schools in South Africa. She sings many different genres ranging from pop to opera. She has performed nationally in South Africa and maintains a Thriving voice studio and performance schedule in Toronto. Annie is currently recording her first studio album of original songs, four of which were featured in an independent film in 2013. She recently received a FACTOR grant for the Professional Demo Award.
